Matthew 7:1-2 – Say No To Judging
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – being right and judging rightness is not what God calls me to.
Matthew 7:1-2 NLT
[1] “Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. [2] For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.
2 Corinthians 12:7-10 – Weakness is Good
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – weakness is not to be hidden but embraced.
2 Corinthians 12:7-10 NLT
[7] So to keep me from becoming proud, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger from Satan to torment me and keep me from becoming proud. [8] Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. [9] Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses so that the power of Christ can work through me. [10] That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Galatians 2:16,19,21 – You can’t break the law when there is none!
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – we want freedom but struggle when it’s given freely. We don’t trust love to shape us, so we crave manipulation of the law. We miss God completely if we can’t break free from this story.
Galatians 2:16,19,21 NLT
[16] Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law.” [19] For when I tried to keep the law, it condemned me. So I died to the law-I stopped trying to meet all its requirements-so that I might live for God. [21] I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die.
Matthew 5:3 – Only The Poor Get Rich.
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – God works on upside down logic, if you bring nothing that makes you worthy of entry then that is the only way to come into His life.
Matthew 5:3 TPT
[3] “What wealth is offered to you when you feel your spiritual poverty! For there is no charge to enter the realm of heaven’s kingdom.”
Acts 10:15,28,34 – Clean or Unclean?
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – how wrong can I get it! I need new eyes that see clearly.
Acts 10:15,28,34 NLT
[15] But the voice spoke again: “Do not call something unclean if God has made it clean.”
28] Peter told them, “You know it is against our laws for a Jewish man to enter a Gentile home like this or to associate with you. But God has shown me that I should no longer think of anyone as impure or unclean.
34] Then Peter replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism.”
1 Corinthians 4:3 -Whose to Judge?
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – so often I sit in judgment over self and others, when I have no capacity to do so.
1 Corinthians 4:3 NLT
[3] As for me, it matters very little how I might be evaluated by you or by any human authority. I don’t even trust my own judgment on this point.
John 17:22-23 – Be Right Or Be Love?
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- we defend being right and defending our version of right, above love and unity, and then wonder why the world does not know Jesus.
John 17:22-23 NLT
[22] “I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. [23] I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.
Romans 15:7 – No Test To Acceptance.
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – I am fully accepted by God, so let my posture towards others be shaped by God’s posture towards me.
Romans 15:7 NLT
[7] Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory.
Romans 14:12-13,17,23 – No More Condemning Others
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- God brings to each of us the personal revelation of the truth of Kingdom life, religion dictates corporately what people think the truth for life is.
Romans 14:12-13,17,23 NLT
[12] Yes, each of us will give a personal account to God. [13] So let’s stop condemning each other. Decide instead to live in such a way that you will not cause another believer to stumble and fall. [17] For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. [23] But if you have doubts about whether or not you should eat something, you are sinning if you go ahead and do it. For you are not following your convictions. If you do anything you believe is not right, you are sinning.
Romans 10:1-3 – The Deceived Way To Right Relationship.
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- what is it in us as people that want to work our way to right relationship with God? What’s the attraction that makes us enthusiastically work hard for His acceptance?
Romans 10:1-3 NLT
[1] Dear brothers and sisters, the longing of my heart and my prayer to God is for the people of Israel to be saved. [2] I know what enthusiasm they have for God, but it is misdirected zeal. [3] For they don’t understand God’s way of making people right with himself. Refusing to accept God’s way, they cling to their own way of getting right with God by trying to keep the law.
Romans 10:1-3 – The Deceived Way to Right Relationship.

1 Corinthians 1:30-31 – No Boasting
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- I am amazed again by how good God is to me.
1 Corinthians 1:30-31 NLT
[30] God has united you with Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made him to be wisdom itself. Christ made us right with God; he made us pure and holy, and he freed us from sin. [31] Therefore, as the Scriptures say, “If you want to boast, boast only about the LORD.”
Jude 1:22-23 – Placard or Posture
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- I so often defend the truth with placard and condemnation in hand rather than posture myself with mercy and compassion.
Jude 1:22-23 TPT
[22] Keep being compassionate to those who still have doubts, [23] and snatch others out of the fire to save them. Be merciful over and over to them, but always couple your mercy with the fear of God. Be extremely careful to keep yourselves free from the pollutions of the flesh.
Luke 18:9-14 – Tax collectors go home right with God.
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- it’s all grace and mercy, nothing of me.
Luke 18:9-14 TPT
[9] Jesus taught this parable to those who were convinced they were morally upright and those who trusted in their own virtue yet looked down on others with disgust: [10] “Once there were two men who went into the temple to pray. One was a proud religious leader, the other a despised tax collector. [11-12] The religious leader stood apart from the others and prayed, ‘How I thank you, O God, that I’m not wicked like everyone else. They’re cheaters, swindlers, and crooks like that tax collector over there. God, you know that I never cheat or commit adultery; I fast from food twice a week and I give you a tenth of all I make.’ [13] “The tax collector stood off alone in the corner, away from the Holy Place, and covered his face in his hands, feeling that he was unworthy to even look up to God. Beating his breast, he sobbed with brokenness and tears saying, ‘God, please, in your mercy and because of the blood sacrifice, forgive me, for I am nothing but the most miserable of all sinners!’ [14] “Which one of them left for home that day made right with God? It was the humble tax collector and not the religious leader! For everyone who praises himself will one day be humiliated before all, and everyone who humbles himself will one day be lifted up and honored before all.”
