Here is the revelation shaping my life today – there is way too much talk and not enough awe and wonder in our lives with Jesus. It’s not meant to be this way. We have sanitised the beauty, danger, mystery and supernatural presence of God into a safely spoken religion about God who is as boring as religion has always been.
Mark 1:21-22 TPT
[21] Then Jesus and his disciples went to Capernaum, and he immediately started teaching on the Sabbath day in the synagogue. [22] The people were awestruck and overwhelmed by his teaching because he taught in a way that demonstrated God’s authority, which was quite unlike the religious scholars.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – the journey with God is not the removal of doubt but rather walking with doubt.

The moment they saw him, (the risen Jesus) they worshipped him, but some still had lingering doubts.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – when you get the story of love right, you love right.
1 Thessalonians 4:9-10 TPT
God is continually teaching you to unselfishly love one another……We urge you, beloved ones, to let this unselfish love increase and flow through you more and more.

Here is the revelation shaping my life today- Jesus prays the prayer I pray in times of suffering because he gets me, he’s been me. The question is can I pray the prayer he concludes with in my seasons of suffering?

[39] Then Jesus walked a short distance away, and overcome with grief, he threw himself facedown on the ground and prayed, “My Father, if there is any way you can deliver me from this suffering, please take it from me. Yet what I want is not important, for I only desire to fulfil your plan for me.”

Here is the revelation shaping my life today – the intellectual pursuit of God will never empower my conviction to live for him, like him, with him.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – how can something as simple as this be so missed, so out of our focus, so sacrificed? Love is the entire goal of life.
1 Timothy 1:5 TPT
[5] For we reach the goal of fulfilling all the commandments when we love others deeply with a pure heart, a clean conscience, and sincere faith.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- I’m not who I think I am. I become the real me in the beauty of being loved.
Colossians 3:3,9-12,17 TPT
[3] Your crucifixion with Christ has severed the tie to this life, and now your true life is hidden away in God in Christ……Lay aside your old Adam-self with its masquerade and disguise. For you have acquired new creation life which is continually being renewed into the likeness of the One who created you; giving you the full revelation of God. For it is Christ that means everything as he lives in every one of us! [12] You are always and dearly loved by God! Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – I’m invited to the life God intends and I am shaped for the life God intends from being at the party.
Matthew 22:8-9 TPT
[8] “Then the king said to his servants, ‘The wedding feast is ready, yet those who had been invited to attend didn’t deserve the honor. [9] Now I want you to go into the streets and alleyways and invite anyone and everyone you find to come and enjoy the wedding feast in honor of my son.’

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – I am deliberately building my life in and on Jesus, my personal experiences and encounters with him.
Colossians 2:6-9 NLT
[6] And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. [7] Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. [8] Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ. [9] For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – it’s not worthiness that opens heavens revelation it’s open-heartedness.
Mark 4:24-25 TPT
[24] Then he said to them, “Be diligent to understand the meaning behind everything you hear, for as you do, more understanding will be given to you. And according to the depth of your longing to understand, much more will be added to you. [25] For those who listen with open hearts will receive more revelation. But those who don’t listen with open hearts will lose what little they think they have!”

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – the world, and its attitudes reflect the way it is led. Imagine a world that was led differently.
Matthew 20:25-28 NLT
Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers in this world lord it over their people, and officials flaunt their authority over those under them. But among you, it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave. [28] For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – it’s impossible to be saved, it is only possible to know you are saved.
Matthew 19:25-26 NLT
[25] The disciples were astounded. “Then who in the world can be saved?” they asked. [26] Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – heaven declares me to be the man I want to be. I will accept the declaration and stop my attempts to write it myself.
Colossians 1:19-22 NLT
[19] For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, [20] and through him, God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross. [21] This includes you who were once far away from God. You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions. [22] Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – do I hear the command to forgive others or a picture of my true self?
