Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – how deeply acceptance is measured by performance, and how this is not the story of heaven.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – he is the teacher of himself, and he is faithful to the task. The question is my posture to receive.
Philippians 1:6 NLT
[6] And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – the importance of self is blinding, it rings so true that it is hard to silence its demanding seeking for attention.

[4] Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – how often we keep God in the distant and paint Him as one who does not understand what it’s like to be me.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – explaining mystery is not knowing intellectually but an invitation to a knowledge of the heart.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – only beauty will transform me.

[44] “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure that a man discovered hidden in a field. In his excitement, he hid it again and sold everything he owned to get enough money to buy the field.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – God does not burden me with a list of do’s and don’t’s, he gives me Himself and then sends me to be like Him.
Ephesians 5:1-2 MSG
[1-2] Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behaviour from their parents. Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn’t love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – Jesus is not a Pharisee law enforcer, he is a life saver.

[1] At about that time Jesus was walking through some grainfields on the Sabbath. His disciples were hungry, so they began breaking off some heads of grain and eating them. [2] But some Pharisees saw them do it and protested, “Look, your disciples are breaking the law by harvesting grain on the Sabbath.”

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – truth is dangerous when carried contrary to truth itself.
Ephesians 4:21
[21] Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth that comes from him.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – the way you carry a load determines its weight. The way you carry your life determines how heavy it is.
Matthew 11:28-30 NLT
[28] Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – this prayer that God puts in the mouth of Paul displays God’s desire for my life. Complete for a full life.

[16] I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. [17] Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. [18] And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. [19] May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – peace is possible in all circumstances.

Philippians 4:4,6-7 NLT

[4] Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again-rejoice! [6] Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. [7] Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

This is the revelation that is shaping my life today – I see just how tragic law makes me. How hostile I come in defending my regulations and commands against yours. Man, this is ugly on a huge scale that needs to be exposed in the mirror.
Ephesians 2:14-16 NLT
[14] For Christ, himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us. [15] He did this by ending the system of law with its commandments and regulations. He made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new people from the two groups. [16] Together as one body, Christ reconciled both groups to God by means of his death on the cross, and our hostility toward each other was put to death.
