Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – I am made right so I can have life – right!

Titus 3:4-7 NIV
[4] But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, [5] he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, [6] whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, [7] so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.

Here is the revelation shaping my life today – I strive for life, and I want a great life, but so often my striving is poor investments. Is the way already open to me?

Luke 4:16-21 NIV
[16] He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day, he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read, [17] and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written: [18] “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, [19] to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.” [20] Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him. [21] He began by saying to them, “Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”

Here is the revelation shaping my life today – you can’t void the challenges and hardships of life brought about through the evil attacks and brokenness of this world, but you have a choice as to how you respond.

2 Timothy 4:18 NIV
[18] The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory forever and ever. Amen.

Luke 3:21-22 NIV
[21] When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying, heaven was opened [22] and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you, I am well pleased.”

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – I am so often unaware of who I am serving. I allow my life to be shaped by a culture that constantly fails me, yet I bow down.

[1] But you need to be aware that in the final days, the culture of society will become extremely fierce and difficult for the people of God.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – I was not made to do life alone, I don’t have what it takes.

[1] Timothy, my dear son, live your life empowered by God’s free-flowing grace, which is your true strength, found in the anointing of Jesus and your union with him!

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – you can’t silence good news. This news is thousands of years old and is still celebrated worldwide. I think this shows how desperate our need is for rescue. You can’t do this life alone!

Luke 2:10-12 TPT
[10] But the angel reassured them, saying, “Don’t be afraid. For I have come to bring you good news, the most joyous news the world has ever heard! And it is for everyone everywhere! [11-12] For today in Bethlehem a rescuer was born for you. He is the Lord Yahweh, the Messiah.“

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – the journey of hope is not easily embraced. We want a sign to assure us, even when a sign has shown us.

Luke 1:18-19,37 TPT
[18] Zechariah asked the angel, “How do you expect me to believe this? I’m an old man and my wife is too old to give me a child. What sign can you give me to prove this will happen?” [19] Then the angel said, “I am Gabriel. I stand beside God himself. He has sent me to announce to you this good news.
37] “Not one promise from God is empty of power, for nothing is impossible with God!”

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – shame will always have the opportunity to have voice, the question is how to silence shame so it does not become a shaping voice.

The confidence of my calling enables me to overcome every difficulty without shame, for I have an intimate revelation of this God.

[32] Let the ‘Messiah,’ the ‘king of Israel,’ pull out the nails and come down from the cross right now. We’ll believe it when we see it!”

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- we too often want to make God exclusively ours. It gives us security, comfort, and power, but he is a non-exclusive God.

He is the wonderful life-giver of all the children of men, and even more so to those who believe.
