Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- hope in the future is powerful in shaping the present.

John 5:24,39-40 NLT

[24] “I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life. [39] “You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me! [40] Yet you refuse to come to me to receive this life.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- God is not about behavioural transformation but rather mind renewal.

Romans 12:2 NLT

[2] Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- do I live searching for something that will satisfy or do I live from the overflow of found satisfaction?

John 4:13-14 TPT

[13] Jesus answered, “If you drink from Jacob’s well you’ll be thirsty again and again, [14] but if anyone drinks the living water I give them, they will never thirst again and will be forever satisfied! For when you drink the water I give you it becomes a gushing fountain of the Holy Spirit, springing up and flooding you with endless life!”

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- I so often ridiculously make demands of God that are not my place to do so. I lose my place.

Romans 11:33-36 NLT

[33] Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways! [34] For who can know the LORD’s thoughts? Who knows enough to give him advice? [35] And who has given him so much that he needs to pay it back? [36] For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- I can easily fall for what ways of the world and miss the beauty of the ways of God.

Romans 9:30-32 NLT

[30] Even though the Gentiles were not trying to follow God’s standards, they were made right with God. And it was by faith that this took place. [31] But the people of Israel, who tried so hard to get right with God by keeping the law, never succeeded. [32] Why not? Because they were trying to get right with God by keeping the law instead of by trusting in him.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- no judgement means no judgement. How often I allow this truth to be corrupted.

John 3:17-18 NLT

God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- I so often ridiculously make demands of God that are not my place to do so. I lose my place.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- I am the overflow of my heart.

John 2:23-25 NLT

[23] Because of the miraculous signs Jesus did in Jerusalem at the Passover celebration, many began to trust in him. [24] But Jesus didn’t trust them, because he knew all about people. [25] No one needed to tell him about human nature, for he knew what was in each person’s heart.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- God has done everything to enable me to be me.

Romans 8:29-30 NLT

[29] For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. [30] And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- God takes the risk of rejection but makes himself plainly available to be known.

John 1:10-12,18 NLT

[10] He came into the very world he created, but the world didn’t recognize him. [11] He came to his own people, and even they rejected him. [12] But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. [18] No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.
