Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – God works on upside down logic, if you bring nothing that makes you worthy of entry then that is the only way to come into His life.

Matthew 5:3 TPT

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – motivation is critical, generosity is invited.

2 Corinthians 9:6-7 NLT

[6] Remember this-  a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. [7] You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – I realise how blind I am to a bigger life that is all around me.

Romans 1:19-21,25 NLT

[19] They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. [20] For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God. [21] Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. [25] They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen.

Acts 20:35 NLT

Remember the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.'”

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – we are all looking for ‘God’ even if we would not recognise or declare this searching. This was His purpose for all of us, that no one would not find Him, so He gave us all a longing and seeking. We all what to know where do I find life, where do I get meaning, why am here. It’s all found in Him.

Acts 17:27-28 NLT

[27] “His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him though he is not far from any one of us. [28] For in him we live and move and exist.”

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – the story you choose will shape your life not the place you find yourself in. I must stop blaming circumstances for the life I am living and take responsibility to posture myself in a way that shapes my place.

2 Corinthians 6:10 NLT

[10] Our hearts ache, but we always have joy. We are poor, but we give spiritual riches to others. We own nothing, and yet we have everything.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – religion completely wrecks  grace.

Acts 15:5-6,11 NLT

[5] But then some of the believers who belonged to the sect of the Pharisees stood up and insisted, “The Gentile converts must be circumcised and required to follow the law of Moses.” [6] So the apostles and elders met together to resolve this issue. [11] We believe that we are all saved the same way, by the undeserved grace of the Lord Jesus.”

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – there is a new me in me, it’s released by love.

2 Corinthians 5:14-15 NLT

Christ’s love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life. [15] He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – you can be blinded to the things that are plain to see right in front of you. You can miss beauty and love displayed clearly before you. You just need a new perspective, new eyes to see.

Acts 14:16-17 NLT

[16] In the past he permitted all the nations to go their own ways, [17] but he never left them without evidence of himself and his goodness. For instance, he sends you rain and good crops and gives you food and joyful hearts.”

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – troubles will not be avoided in this life, but the perspective through which we see them will shape my life in them.

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 NLT

[17] For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! [18] So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. The things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – I am more than I ever imagined myself to be.

2 Corinthians 3:17-18 NLT

[17] For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. [18] So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord-who is the Spirit-makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – how easily I am attracted to the false and fragile and futile life of the law.

Acts 13:38-39 NLT

[38] “Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. [39] Everyone who believes in him is made right in God’s sight-something the law of Moses could never do.”
