Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – there is a new me in me, it’s released by love.

2 Corinthians 5:14-15 NLT

Christ’s love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life. [15] He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – you can be blinded to the things that are plain to see right in front of you. You can miss beauty and love displayed clearly before you. You just need a new perspective, new eyes to see.

Acts 14:16-17 NLT

[16] In the past he permitted all the nations to go their own ways, [17] but he never left them without evidence of himself and his goodness. For instance, he sends you rain and good crops and gives you food and joyful hearts.”

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – troubles will not be avoided in this life, but the perspective through which we see them will shape my life in them.

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 NLT

[17] For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! [18] So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. The things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – I am more than I ever imagined myself to be.

2 Corinthians 3:17-18 NLT

[17] For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. [18] So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord-who is the Spirit-makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – how easily I am attracted to the false and fragile and futile life of the law.

Acts 13:38-39 NLT

[38] “Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. [39] Everyone who believes in him is made right in God’s sight-something the law of Moses could never do.”

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – there is a fragrance to my life that others can smell. I need to be responsible for the fragrance I wear.

2 Corinthians 2:15 NLT

Our lives are a Christ-like fragrance rising up to God.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – faith is the only way we can walk through the James and Peter circumstances of life.

Acts 12:1-9 NLT

[1] About that time King Herod Agrippa began to persecute some believers in the church. [2] He had the apostle James (John’s brother) killed with a sword. [3] When Herod saw how much this pleased the Jewish people, he also arrested Peter. (This took place during the Passover celebration.) [4] Then he imprisoned him, placing him under the guard of four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring Peter out for public trial after the Passover. [5] But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him. [6] The night before Peter was to be placed on trial, he was asleep, fastened with two chains between two soldiers. Others stood guard at the prison gate. [7] Suddenly, there was a bright light in the cell, and an angel of the Lord stood before Peter. The angel struck him on the side to awaken him and said, “Quick! Get up!” And the chains fell off his wrists. [8] Then the angel told him, “Get dressed and put on your sandals.” And he did. “Now put on your coat and follow me,” the angel ordered. [9] So Peter left the cell.

This is the revelation that is shaping my life today- where you turn in the storms of life shapes life post the storm.

2 Corinthians 1:8-10 NLT

[8] We think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. [9] In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead. [10] And he did rescue us from mortal danger, and he will rescue us again. We have placed our confidence in him, and he will continue to rescue us.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – how wrong can I get it! I need new eyes that see clearly.

Acts 10:15,28,34 NLT

[15] But the voice spoke again: “Do not call something unclean if God has made it clean.”

28] Peter told them, “You know it is against our laws for a Jewish man to enter a Gentile home like this or to associate with you. But God has shown me that I should no longer think of anyone as impure or unclean.

34] Then Peter replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism.”

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- it is only a short time before eternity starts.

1 Corinthians 15:45-49,53 NLT

[45] The Scriptures tell us, “The first man, Adam, became a living person.” But the last Adam-that is, Christ-is a life-giving Spirit. [46] What comes first is the natural body, then the spiritual body comes later. [47] Adam, the first man, was made from the dust of the earth, while Christ, the second man, came from heaven. [48] Earthly people are like the earthly man, and heavenly people are like the heavenly man. [49] Just as we are now like the earthly man, we will someday be like the heavenly man. [53] For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – how often life is shaped by the rumblings of discontent.

Acts 6:1 NLT

[1] But as the believers rapidly multiplied, there were rumblings of discontent. The Greek-speaking believers complained about the Hebrew-speaking believers, saying that their widows were being discriminated against in the daily distribution of food.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- we can believe we are following God whilst standing in opposition to what He is doing.

Acts 5:38-39 NLT

[38] “So my advice is, leave these men alone. Let them go. If they are planning and doing these things merely on their own, it will soon be overthrown. [39] But if it is from God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You may even find yourselves fighting against God!”
