[33] Simeon then blessed them and prophesied over Mary, saying: [34-35] “A painful sword will one day pierce your inner being, for your child will be rejected by many in Israel. And the destiny of your child is this: he will be laid down as a miracle sign for the downfall and resurrection of many in Israel. Many will oppose this sign, but it will expose to all the innermost thoughts of their hearts before God.”

[9] Early on the first day of the week, after rising from the dead, Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons. [10] After she had seen Jesus, she ran to tell his disciples, who were all emotionally devastated and weeping. [11] Excitedly, Mary told them, “He’s alive and I’ve seen him!” But even after hearing this, they didn’t believe her.

Luke 6:43-45 – Hard Work or Heart Work?

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – it’s all about my heart. God wants my life to flow from my heart’s engagement with Him.

Luke 6:43-45 NLT

[43] “A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit. [44] A tree is identified by its fruit. Figs are never gathered from thornbushes, and grapes are not picked from bramble bushes. [45] A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart.

James 2:14,17-18,26 – Faith or Good Works, What Works?

This is the revelation that is shaping my life today – I must get the role and location of faith and good works in the right context of my life with God.

James 2:14,17-18,26 NLT

[14] What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? [17] So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless. [18] Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.” [26] Just as the body is dead without breath, so also faith is dead without good works.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- I either know myself as perfectly holy in the sight of God or I will never enter His presence.

Hebrews 10:14,18-20 TPT

[14] And by his one perfect sacrifice, he made us perfectly holy and complete for all time! [18] So if our sins have been forgiven and forgotten, why would we ever need to offer another sacrifice for sin? [19] And now we are brothers and sisters in God’s family because of the blood of Jesus, and he welcomes us to come right into the most holy sanctuary in the heavenly realm-boldly and with no hesitation. [20] For he has dedicated a new, life-giving way for us to approach God. For just as the veil was torn in two, Jesus’ body was torn open to give us free and fresh access to him!

Hebrews 8:10- 12 TPT

“For here is the covenant I will one day establish with the people of Israel: I will embed my laws within their thoughts and fasten them onto their hearts. I will be their loyal God and they will be my loyal people. [11] And the result of this will be that everyone will know me as Lord! There will be no need at all to teach their fellow-citizens or brothers by saying, ‘You should know the Lord Jehovah,’ since everyone will know me inwardly, from the most unlikely to the most distinguished. [12] For I will demonstrate my mercy to them and will forgive their evil deeds, and never remember again their sins.”

Hebrews 7:24-25,27 – God shut it all down.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – God closed forever religion. He desires that there is nothing that stands between me and His intimate presence.

Hebrews 7:24-25,27 TPT

[24] But Jesus permanently holds his priestly office, since he lives forever and will never have a successor! [25] So he is able to save fully from now throughout eternity, everyone who comes to God through him, because he lives to pray continually for them. [27] Unlike the former high priests, he is not compelled to offer daily sacrifices. They had to bring a sacrifice first for their own sins, then for the sins of the people, but he finished the sacrificial system, once and for all, when he offered himself.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – the depth by which God has gone to to know me and be known to me. I am never alone, or unknown, in the walk of this life.

Hebrews 2:14,17-18 TPT

[14] Since all his “children” have flesh and blood, so Jesus became human to fully identify with us. He did this, so that he could experience death and annihilate the effects of the intimidating accuser who holds against us the power of death. [17] This is why he had to be a Man and take hold of our humanity in every way. He made us his brothers and sisters and became our merciful and faithful King-Priest before God; as the One who removed our sins to make us one with him. [18] He suffered and endured every test and temptation, so that he can help us every time we pass through the ordeals of life
