Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – embracing my ugly opens the door to beauty.
Matthew 9:12-13 NLT
[12] When Jesus heard this, he said, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor-sick people do.” [13] Then he added, “Now go and learn the meaning of this Scripture: ‘I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices.’ For I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.”

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – what you do means nothing, be the best in the class, it’s all rubbish because it’s all heart.
Matthew 15:8-9 NLT
[8] ‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. [9] Their worship is a farce, for they teach man-made ideas as commands from God.'”

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – immense value has been placed on each of us with deliberate and joy-filled intent for our lives.
Ephesians 1:4-5 NLT
[4] Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. [5] God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – I, we, must stop telling people how to live and start helping them to live in the intimacy of love.
Galatians 5:1,3-4, 6 NLT
[1] So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law. [3] I’ll say it again. If you are trying to find favour with God by being circumcised, you must obey every regulation in the whole law of Moses. [4] For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace. 6] For when we place our faith in Christ Jesus, there is no benefit in being circumcised or being uncircumcised. What is important is faith expressing itself in love.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – there is no fear in my life with God for His salvation is in His presence.

[4] Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – I choose.

Matthew 4:3-4,6-7,9-10 NLT

[3] During that time the devil came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become loaves of bread.” [4] But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.'” [6] and said, “If you are the Son of God, jump off! For the Scriptures say, ‘He will order his angels to protect you. And they will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.’ ” [7] Jesus responded, “The Scriptures also say, ‘You must not test the LORD your God.'” [9] “I will give it all to you,” he said, “if you will kneel down and worship me.” [10] “Get out of here, Satan,” Jesus told him. “For the Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the LORD your God and serve only him.'”

 

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- how deceived I can become and how deception shapes my life. The simplicity of nine words can transform me.

Remember the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.'”

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – there is a new me in me, it’s released by love.

2 Corinthians 5:14-15 NLT

Christ’s love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life. [15] He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – you can be blinded to the things that are plain to see right in front of you. You can miss beauty and love displayed clearly before you. You just need a new perspective, new eyes to see.

Acts 14:16-17 NLT

[16] In the past he permitted all the nations to go their own ways, [17] but he never left them without evidence of himself and his goodness. For instance, he sends you rain and good crops and gives you food and joyful hearts.”

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – how wrong can I get it! I need new eyes that see clearly.

Acts 10:15,28,34 NLT

[15] But the voice spoke again: “Do not call something unclean if God has made it clean.”

28] Peter told them, “You know it is against our laws for a Jewish man to enter a Gentile home like this or to associate with you. But God has shown me that I should no longer think of anyone as impure or unclean.

34] Then Peter replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism.”

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- there is only one commandment – be loved and be love.

John 15:9,12 NLT

[9] “I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. [12] This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- do you believe in Jesus? Then eternal life is a seed within this truth that will come to harvest at my death.

John 11:25-26 NLT

[25] Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. [26] Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this?”

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- I so often defend the truth with placard and condemnation in hand rather than posture myself with mercy and compassion.

Jude 1:22-23 TPT

[22] Keep being compassionate to those who still have doubts, [23] and snatch others out of the fire to save them. Be merciful over and over to them, but always couple your mercy with the fear of God. Be extremely careful to keep yourselves free from the pollutions of the flesh.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- I can’t walk past the deepest need of love.

1 John 4:7,10,19 TPT

[7] Those who are loved by God, let his love continually pour from you to one another, because God is love. Everyone who loves is fathered by God and experiences an intimate knowledge of him. [10] This is love: He loved us long before we loved him. It was his love, not ours. He proved it by sending his Son to be the pleasing sacrificial offering to take away our sins. [19] Our love for others is our grateful response to the love God first demonstrated to us.
