Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- the promise of His presence with me is the shaping foundational truth for life.
Acts 2:25-26 NLT
King David said this about him: ‘I see that the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. No wonder my heart is glad, and my tongue shouts his praises! My body rests in hope.
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – I can be right or I can walk alongside?
1 Corinthians 9:19-21 NLT
Even though I am a free man with no master, I have become a slave to all people to bring many to Christ. When I was with the Jews, I lived like a Jew to bring the Jews to Christ. When I was with those who follow the Jewish law, I too lived under that law. Even though I am not subject to the law, I did this so I could bring to Christ those who are under the law. When I am with the Gentiles who do not follow the Jewish law, I too live apart from that law so I can bring them to Christ.
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – I can be free and abusive.
1 Corinthians 8:9-12 NLT
But you must be careful so that your freedom does not cause others with a weaker conscience to stumble. For if others see you-with your “superior knowledge”-eating in the temple of an idol, won’t they be encouraged to violate their conscience by eating food that has been offered to an idol? So because of your superior knowledge, a weak believer for whom Christ died will be destroyed. And when you sin against other believers by encouraging them to do something they believe is wrong, you are sinning against Christ.
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – God’s freedom comes with personal responsibility, not law enforcement orders.
1 Corinthians 6:12 NLT
You say, “I am allowed to do anything”-but not everything is good for you. And even though “I am allowed to do anything,” I must not become a slave to anything.”
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – faith is not built on prophetic fulfillment but exploration can be peeked that leads to introduction.
John 19:23-24 NLT
When the soldiers had crucified Jesus, they divided his clothes among the four of them. They also took his robe, but it was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom. So they said, “Rather than tearing it apart, let’s throw dice for it.” This fulfilled the Scripture that says, “They divided my garments among themselves and threw dice for my clothing.” So that is what they did.
Psalm 22:18 NLT
They divide my garments among themselves and throw dice for my clothing.
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – so often I sit in judgment over self and others, when I have no capacity to do so.
1 Corinthians 4:3 NLT
As for me, it matters very little how I might be evaluated by you or by any human authority. I don’t even trust my own judgment on this point.
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – you can be in the kingdom of God but not living a kingdom life.
1 Corinthians 3:1-2 NLT
Dear brothers and sisters, when I was with you I couldn’t talk to you as I would to spiritual people. I had to talk as though you belonged to this world or as though you were infants in Christ. I had to feed you with milk, not with solid food, because you weren’t ready for anything stronger. And you still aren’t ready.
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – I live not from here.
John 18:36 NLT
Jesus answered, “My Kingdom is not an earthly kingdom. If it were, my followers would fight to keep me from being handed over to the Jewish leaders. But my Kingdom is not of this world.”
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- we defend being right and defending our version of right, above love and unity, and then wonder why the world does not know Jesus.
John 17:22-23 NLT
“I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – the deception of perceived wisdom leads many towards destruction.
1 Corinthians 1:18,30-31 NLT
The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God. God has united you with Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made him to be wisdom itself. Christ made us right with God; he made us pure and holy, and he freed us from sin. Therefore, as the Scriptures say, “If you want to boast, boast only about the LORD.”
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – salvation, righteousness, and freedom from judgment are revealed and become my personal shaping story only through the ongoing work of the Spirit.
John 16:7-11 NLT
But in fact, it is best for you that I go away because if I don’t, the Advocate won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you. And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment. The world’s sin is that it refuses to believe in me. Righteousness is available because I go to the Father, and you will see me no more. Judgment will come because the ruler of this world has already been judged.
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – I am fully accepted by God, so let my posture towards others be shaped by God’s posture towards me.
Romans 15:7 NLT
Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory.
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- there is only one commandment – be loved and be love.
John 15:9,12 NLT
“I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you.
