Living abundantly Love

Ephesians 1:4-6 – the amazing story of already!

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today. So many people live from a story of separated from God, usually seen through the lens of unworthiness. But the reality is that no one is separated from God, he made it that way before he created anything. So for all time you have always and already been perfectly right with God, loved by Him, called son and daughter by Him. Love’s not waiting for you to sort yourself out, love went first and just sorted it all out. All that is left to allow love to love you. Start saying yes to love and Her deep desire to embrace and hold you. Love already loves you, just be loved. There is no separation to overcome, love already has overcome.

Ephesians 1:4-6 TPT
[4] And he chose us to be his very own, joining us to himself even before he laid the foundation of the universe! Because of his great love, he ordained us, so that we would be seen as holy in his eyes with an unstained innocence. [5-6] For it was always in his perfect plan to adopt us as his delightful children, through our union with Jesus, the Anointed One, so that his tremendous love that cascades over us would glorify his grace-for the same love he has for his Beloved One, Jesus, he has for us. And this unfolding plan brings him great pleasure!

Observation

“Say what?!?!”
If only we knew who we are, or rather who we have always been. “Before he laid the foundation of the universe,” we were chosen to be seen by Him with “unstained innocence,” and adopted to be His children, “SO THAT” we would experience His love, the same love that the Father has for His son Jesus. We make so much of separation that we miss the already! Our union with Jesus does not start when we pray some prayer developed in the 1800s, when we deal with our separation. Our union with Him was before He created, my sonship was before He created, my innocence was before He created, my being loved in a way I can’t comprehend was before He created. Why do we seperate ourselves, and everyone else, from the already, and then make everyone work themselves back to what has always been their already?

All already asks from us is realisation. It’s not make good for that which separates, it’s realise who you are already and flourish in the richness of His story and love. There is no need to make good for your ‘unholiness’, it’s realise your already innocence in Him. This is what great love does, it doesn’t make you work for worthiness it just lavishes itself in unrestrained outpouring upon you, and makes you perfectly postured to receive by His work not ours. Before He created He determined that “we would be seen as holy in his eyes with an unstained innocence.” How can sin seperate me when He doesn’t see me that way? Why have we made sin so powerful as to be able to seperate us from our God, when He defeated this power in His own determined way of seeing us, before He created. We have always been, and always will be seen by God with “unstained innocence,” why would we make up and tell a story of separation by sin?

Application

Oh that I would live in the fullness of loves’ declaration over me. Love determined before she created that I would be seen with unstained innocence, that I would be called son, that I would live in loves complete embrace and celebration over me. I bring love the “greatest pleasure” when I live in His plan that He created and instituted “before he laid the foundation of the universe!” My union doesn’t happen when I say yes, I was created in union, I live and move and have my being in union with Him, it’s been already that way before I took my first breath, I don’t have to deal with anything that seperate me, I only have to see what I am already. No work to be done, just rejoicing and gratitude over how deeply love desires me.

Response

Thank you that I have always and will always be already in your embrace. Thank you that you call me to live in your plan and that is what brings you great pleasure. Thank you that your love desires my love. Thank you for determining in yourself to see me in “unstained innocence,” that just shuts the mouths of the roaring lions of my failure and shame, so that I can enjoy the fullness of your embrace in the everyday of my life.

Meditation

Meditate – before he laid the foundation of the universe!

Consider:
Do you live from an already story or a separation story?
Do you live knowing that God sees you in unstained innocence always?
