Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – God is inappropriate in who He chooses to give the place of honour.

Mark 16:9-11 TPT

[9] Early on the first day of the week, after rising from the dead, Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons. [10] After she had seen Jesus, she ran to tell his disciples, who were all emotionally devastated and weeping. [11] Excitedly, Mary told them, “He’s alive and I’ve seen him!” But even after hearing this, they didn’t believe her.

This is the revelation that is shaping my life today – is rich full life very different from the way I often shape mine?!

Hebrews 13:1-3,16 TPT

[1] No matter what, make room in your heart to love every believer. [2] And show hospitality to strangers, for they may be angels from God showing up as your guests. [3] Identify with those who are in prison as though you were there suffering with them, and those who are mistreated as if you could feel their pain. [16] We will show mercy to the poor and not miss an opportunity to do acts of kindness for others, for these are the true sacrifices that delight God’s heart.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – it’s all about my heart. God wants my life to flow from my heart’s engagement with Him.

Luke 6:43-45 NLT

[43] “A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit. [44] A tree is identified by its fruit. Figs are never gathered from thornbushes, and grapes are not picked from bramble bushes. [45] A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life – I must make a clear assessment of the wisdom I am allowing to shape my life and who is its author.

James 3:17 NLT

[17] But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – God gets rejected often not because He is not good, but because we perceive that He can not accept our badness.

Luke 5:8-9 NLT

[8] When Simon Peter realized what had happened, he fell to his knees before Jesus and said, “Oh, Lord, please leave me-I’m such a sinful man.” [9] For he was awestruck by the number of fish they had caught, as were the others with him.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – God offers me what I desperately need but not the evidence I desperately want.

Luke 4:17-22 NLT

[17] The scroll of Isaiah the prophet was handed to him (Jesus). He unrolled the scroll and found the place where this was written: [18] “The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, [19] and that the time of the LORD’s favor has come.” [20] He rolled up the scroll, handed it back to the attendant, and sat down. All eyes in the synagogue looked at him intently. [21] Then he began to speak to them. “The Scripture you’ve just heard has been fulfilled this very day!” [22] Everyone spoke well of him and was amazed by the gracious words that came from his lips. “How can this be?” they asked. “Isn’t this Joseph’s son?”

This is the revelation that is shaping my life today – I must get the role and location of faith and good works in the right context of my life with God.

James 2:14,17-18,26 NLT

[14] What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? [17] So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless. [18] Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.” [26] Just as the body is dead without breath, so also faith is dead without good works.

The revelation that is shaping my life today – when I accept the creator the magnificence of His creation becomes boldly clear.

Psalm 148:5,6 TPT

Let the entire universe erupt with praise to God. From nothing to something he spoke and created it all. He established the cosmos to last forever, and he stands behind his commands so his orders will never be revoked.

This is the revelation that is shaping my life today – God brings revelation of my identity in His word, I see it, hear it, even agree with it, but do I allow it to shape my identity?

James 1:23-24 TPT

[23] If you listen to the Word and don’t live out the message you hear, you become like the person who looks in the mirror of the Word to discover the reflection of his face in the beginning. [24] You perceive how God sees you in the mirror of the Word, but then you go out and forget your divine origin.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – I can die to the ways of God by pleasing people who do not know His ways.

Mark 15:15 TPT

[15] Because he wanted to please the people, Pilate released Barabbas to them. After he had Jesus severely beaten with a whip made of leather straps and embedded with metal, he sentenced him to be crucified.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – I have made it, I am not working towards God I am living from His feast of life. But I must be aware and responsible of the seduction of rebellion and unbelief.

Hebrews 3:1,12,16,19 TPT

[1] And so, dear brothers and sisters, you are now made holy, and each of you is invited to the feast of your heavenly calling. So fasten your thoughts fully onto Jesus, whom we embrace as our Apostle and King-Priest. [12] So search your hearts every day, my brothers and sisters, and make sure that none of you has evil or unbelief hiding within you. For it will lead you astray, and make you unresponsive to the living God. [16] The same people who were delivered from bondage and brought out of Egypt by Moses were the ones who heard and still rebelled. [19] It is clear that they could not enter into their inheritance because they wrapped their hearts in unbelief.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – Sin is abolished – inheritance is available.

Hebrews 9:15,26 TPT

[15] So Jesus is the One who has enacted a new covenant with a new relationship with God so that those who accept the invitation will receive the eternal inheritance he has promised to his heirs. For he died to release us from the guilt of the violations committed under the first covenant…. 26 he has appeared at the fulfillment of the ages to abolish sin once and for all by the sacrifice of himself!

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – we are all passionate hypocrites stumbling like children into the bold, big life of the Kingdom.

Mark 14:27-31 TPT

[27] Jesus said to them, “You will all fall away and desert me. This will fulfill the prophecy of the Scripture that says: I will strike down the shepherd and all the sheep will scatter far and wide. [28] “But after I am risen, I will go ahead of you to Galilee.” [29] Then Peter spoke up and said, “Even if all the rest lose their faith and fall away, I will still be beside you, Jesus!” [30] Jesus said, “Mark my words, Peter. This very night, before the rooster crows twice a few hours from now, you will utterly deny that you know me three times.” [31] But Peter was insistent and replied emphatically, “I will absolutely not! Under no circumstances will I ever deny you-even if I have to die with you!” And all the others repeated the same thing.

Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – there is a new day, a new way – God wants to show me life from the intimacy of His leading.

Hebrews 8:10- 12 TPT

“For here is the covenant I will one day establish with the people of Israel: I will embed my laws within their thoughts and fasten them onto their hearts. I will be their loyal God and they will be my loyal people. [11] And the result of this will be that everyone will know me as Lord! There will be no need at all to teach their fellow-citizens or brothers by saying, ‘You should know the Lord Jehovah,’ since everyone will know me inwardly, from the most unlikely to the most distinguished. [12] For I will demonstrate my mercy to them and will forgive their evil deeds, and never remember again their sins.”
