Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – good is of God, it comes from him alone, I don’t create goodness in me, he creates it in me and I encounter it in him, and then from encounter, I overflow goodness. It’s all in the seeing.
3 John 1:11 TPT
[11] Whoever does good is of God; whoever does evil has not seen God.
Observation
The way evil is overcome is through my experience of seeing God. It is intellectual truth, seeing often starts with an awareness or realisation of God, that then meets my experiential knowing, I see God, which is transformative at a level of deeper consciousness than the intellect. It’s this seeing of the heart, of the spirit, of the soul, this supernatural seeing of God that defeats evil in my life. It’s not trying harder to do something, it’s not believe and obeying, that’s part of it, but it’s look deeper, experience God at a deeper level of his beauty that is transformative knowing.
My life’s actions flow out of my God experiences. I become restored into the truest me as I experience myself in the presence of God himself. And the truest me is a man in the likeness of the image of the God I see, so from experiential seeing of the glory of God, I then reflect that glory in the transformed, more like me, me. You either live from the identity and stories formed in the furnace of the walk of life, or you live from your identity ordained by God at conception, the likeness of his identity. When you get the “I am,” me “of God” identity right then doing good seems to take care of itself. When you know you are “of God,” and have rhythms of experiencing the intimate glory of God, then goodness flows. Whoever does good gets this, and therefore when evil is present return to the start, see God, know you, be you.
Application
Know my identity and never allow the stories of life to reshape my God-given identity, my divine self. Regardless of behaviour daily break with any judgments I make against myself that are not in keeping with the identity God has declared over me, son made in his image and likeness. Defending my identity, and then regularly experiencing my identity in the intimacy of God’s presence are the absolute foundations of living a great life. Know how goodness flows and posture myself for goodness to flow. Always deal with evil by the declaration of identity and experiential truth encounter of identity. Never take the try harder to be me path, it’s full of danger and treachery, know and stay close, rest in his beauty, knowing I am his beauty.

Thank you that goodness is reflective of my identity in you. I love this life of experiencing truth in intimacy and then reflective truth from overflow. This is a good life you have given me and I am deeply grateful.
