Luke 24:6,11,25,44 – What is going on?
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – you can stare into an empty tomb but that doesn’t mean a risen saviour unless you remember and believe. Faith, remembering, gives new eyes to see differently in the storms of life.
Luke 24:6,11,25,44 TPT
[6] Have you forgotten what he said to you while he was still in Galilee:
11] When the disciples heard the testimony of the women, it made no sense, and they were unable to believe what they heard.
25] Jesus said to them, “Why are you so thick-headed? Why do you find it so hard to believe every word the prophets have spoken? [44] Then he said to them, “Don’t you remember the words that I spoke to you when I was still with you?
James 2:8,14-17 – You can’t legislate love
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – being loved flows to being love, and the evidence of your faith most naturally is present from your faith. No evidence means no faith, it’s not that evidence gets you anywhere it proves where you have been.
James 2:8,14-17 TPT
[8] Your calling is to fulfil the royal law of love as given to us in this Scripture: “You must love and value your neighbour as you love and value yourself!” 14] My dear brothers and sisters, what good is it if someone claims to have faith but demonstrates no good works to prove it? How could this kind of faith save anyone? [15] For example, if a brother or sister in the faith is poorly clothed and hungry [16] and you leave them saying, “Good-bye. I hope you stay warm and have plenty to eat,” but you don’t provide them with a coat or even a cup of soup, what good is your faith? [17] So then faith that doesn’t involve action is phony.
I don’t need more than faith.
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – you will never see and know God through the intellectual evidential search, you must arrive at a point of faith for evidence will never see him.
Hebrews 11:1,13,14-16,33
Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen.
Hebrews 11:13
These heroes all died still clinging to their faith, not even receiving all that had been promised them. But they saw beyond the horizon the fulfilment of their promises and gladly embraced it from afar. They all lived their lives on earth as those who belonged to another realm.
Hebrews 11:14-16
[14] For clearly, those who live this way are longing for the appearing of a heavenly city. [15] And if their hearts were still remembering what they left behind, they would have found an opportunity to go back. [16] But they couldn’t turn back for their hearts were fixed on what was far greater, that is, the heavenly realm! So because of this God is not ashamed in any way to be called their God, for he has prepared a heavenly city for them.
Hebrews 11:33
Their faith fastened onto their promises and pulled them into the reality.
Luke 7:8-9,13-14,23,50 – How do I understand faith and its role?
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – faith is a posture for life that moves me into the realm of heaven to earth supernatural, but it is not a control of the one who brings heaven to earth.
Luke 7:8-9,13-14,23,50 TPT
[8] “Unlike you, I am just an ordinary man. Yet I understand the power of authority, and I see that authority operating through you. I have soldiers under me who obey my every command. I also have authorities over me whom I likewise obey. So Master, just speak the word and healing will flow.” [9] Jesus marvelled at this. He turned around and said to the crowd who had followed him, “Listen, everyone! Never have I found even one among the people of God a man like this who believes so strongly in me.”
13] When the Lord saw the grieving mother, his heart broke for her. With great tenderness he said to her, “Please don’t cry.” [14] Then he stepped up to the coffin and touched it. When the pallbearers came to a halt, Jesus said to the corpse, “Young man, I say to you, arise and live!”
23] And tell John these words: ‘The blessing of heaven comes upon those who never lose their faith in me no matter what happens.'”
50] Then Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith in me has given you life. Now you may leave and walk in the ways of peace.”
Luke 1:18-19,37 – Show me a sign
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – the journey of hope is not easily embraced. We want a sign to assure us, even when a sign has shown us.
Luke 1:18-19,37 TPT
[18] Zechariah asked the angel, “How do you expect me to believe this? I’m an old man and my wife is too old to give me a child. What sign can you give me to prove this will happen?” [19] Then the angel said, “I am Gabriel. I stand beside God himself. He has sent me to announce to you this good news.
37] “Not one promise from God is empty of power, for nothing is impossible with God!”
Mark 15:31-32 – Love leaves the nails in.
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – evidence can transform thinking but the heart.
Mark 15:31-32 TPT
Even the ruling priests and the religious scholars joined in the mockery and kept laughing among themselves, saying, “He saved others, but he can’t even save himself! Israel’s king, is he? [32] Let the ‘Messiah,’ the ‘king of Israel,’ pull out the nails and come down from the cross right now. We’ll believe it when we see it!”
1 Timothy 3:16 – The mystery of being loved
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- we all know we need, desire, and are made for love. But how to be loved seems to be a mystery we are unable to solve, rather than a mystery we simply embrace in all its amazingness and greatness.
1 Timothy 3:16 TPT
For the mystery of righteousness is truly amazing!…… Yes, great is this mystery of righteousness!
Mark 5:34 – Bold faith
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today- is daring bold faith a law or a principle for healing?
Mark 5:34 TPT
[34] Then Jesus said to her, “Daughter, because you dared to believe, your faith has healed you. Go with peace in your heart, and be free from your suffering!”
Matthew 26:39 – Get me out of here?
Here is the revelation shaping my life today- Jesus prays the prayer I pray in times of suffering because he gets me, he’s been me. The question is can I pray the prayer he concludes with in my seasons of suffering?
Matthew 26:39 TPT
[39] Then Jesus walked a short distance away, and overcome with grief, he threw himself facedown on the ground and prayed, “My Father, if there is any way you can deliver me from this suffering, please take it from me. Yet what I want is not important, for I only desire to fulfil your plan for me.”
Ephesians 6:19 – The beauty of mystery
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – explaining mystery is not knowing intellectually but an invitation to a knowledge of the heart.
Ephesians 6:19 NLT
[19] And pray for me, too. Ask God to give me the right words so I can boldly explain God’s mysterious plan that the Good News is for Jews and Gentiles alike.
2 Corinthians 6:10 – Place or Posture?
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – the story you choose will shape your life not the place you find yourself in. I must stop blaming circumstances for the life I am living and take responsibility to posture myself in a way that shapes my place.
2 Corinthians 6:10 NLT
[10] Our hearts ache, but we always have joy. We are poor, but we give spiritual riches to others. We own nothing, and yet we have everything.
Acts 12:1-9 – Why God? I have questions.
Here is the revelation that is shaping my life today – faith is the only way we can walk through the James and Peter circumstances of life.
Acts 12:1-9 NLT
[1] About that time King Herod Agrippa began to persecute some believers in the church. [2] He had the apostle James (John’s brother) killed with a sword. [3] When Herod saw how much this pleased the Jewish people, he also arrested Peter. (This took place during the Passover celebration.) [4] Then he imprisoned him, placing him under the guard of four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring Peter out for public trial after the Passover. [5] But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him. [6] The night before Peter was to be placed on trial, he was asleep, fastened with two chains between two soldiers. Others stood guard at the prison gate. [7] Suddenly, there was a bright light in the cell, and an angel of the Lord stood before Peter. The angel struck him on the side to awaken him and said, “Quick! Get up!” And the chains fell off his wrists. [8] Then the angel told him, “Get dressed and put on your sandals.” And he did. “Now put on your coat and follow me,” the angel ordered. [9] So Peter left the cell.
2 Corinthians 1:8-10 – Storms of Life.
This is the revelation that is shaping my life today- where you turn in the storms of life shapes life post the storm.
2 Corinthians 1:8-10 NLT
[8] We think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. [9] In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead. [10] And he did rescue us from mortal danger, and he will rescue us again. We have placed our confidence in him, and he will continue to rescue us.

Acts 3:16 NLT
“Through faith in the name of Jesus, this man was healed-and you know how crippled he was before. Faith in Jesus’ name has healed him before your very eyes.
